The Village in theJungle





Village in the jungle book is written by Leonard Woolf.  This book is an excellent book written in English about the life of the Sinhalese people.  Leonard Wolf came to Sri Lanka in October 1964.  This book has been written after studying the village life of the villagers in Hambantota area of ​​Sri Lanka. Mr.  A.P.   Gunaratne has translated this work into Sinhala under the name of Baddegama. This book is a very interesting book. A movie called Baddegama was also made based on this book. It also contains very beautiful environmental vernaculars.
